Etihad Airways, the national airline of the UAE, has been awarded the coveted ‘from the main world airline’ for the second consecutive year by the World Travel Awards (WTA).
Etihad Airways continued its remarkable climb to collect the prize a year that saw the airline launched five new flights to various destinations.
World Travel Awards is recognized by most as the final word concerning viajes.Etihad Airways industry presented influential in a brilliant WTA award grand final 2010 ceremony in London Grosvenor House.Peter Baumgartner, director commercial Etihad Airways, accepted the award.
In addition, national company won the prize “from the leading world first-class” airline for third consecutive year.
“Etihad Airways Chief Executive Officer, James Hogan, was extremely pleased with the recognition.”"To win the award ‘From the world main airline’ two consecutive years is a unprecedented for an airline which is only seven years old and phenomenal achievement”. 2010 has been a great year for Etihad Airways, the airline based in Abu Dhabi won several awards at the ceremony on the WTA Tour to the Middle East Media held in May.
