Kenya – a Truly Amazing country

My recent visit to Kenya.

My son was lucky enough to go on a tour of even more fortunate Kenya.Era school cricket to go with him in October 2010.

We arrive in Nairobi at Nairobi club, and while the accommodation was fantastic, the atmosphere was fabulosa.Es a building, which preserves all early 20th century inside feeling colonial.

Our first day was a trip to a shrine of giraffe, where we have been able to give them eat directly from our hands and mouth even!

Kenya is so vast and we only had ten days to discover, making it a bit of a fever. We turn to the first four days in Nairobi, traveling around cricket games in several schools, saving us the opportunity to see some really spectacular scenery, but the best way to travel to Masai Mara.

Masai Mara is a truly spectacular location which is only going to then. The accommodation is out of this world, surpassing our expectativas.Éramos just ten metres from the Lions, cheetahs, and elephants, only missing any display crocodiles and rhinos.Until you see these animals in the meat can not really appreciate them.In fact cheetahs remain after our Land Rover around for use as shadow!

One of the last games of cricket was truly memorable, because we had warts pigs eat grass on the pitch, while the children were playing cricket! In fact, director told me that when they visited Lions had to close the school, a real change of a school closing due to warming has packed!

Our visit to a local school disadvantaged was a real eye opening; some of these children had uniforms that were literally hanging out of them, but remained guys sonrientes.Los gave them his old football tops, pencils and books and seems to make a real difference for them.

On our last day we visited an elephant sanctuary where, unfortunately, all the elephants are orphans, but well taken care State de.He in many places in my time, but Kenya has to be one of those places where definitivamente.Es again a place of many contrasts, and the people there pass their way to make you feel welcome.

I wish that it could include the many photos I took on my trip to Kenya, but I would like to encourage all you visit, because it is a place you will never forget.
